Description
Denaxa 60mg/mL contains Denosumab, a medicine that treats osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and men who have a high risk of fractures. It also helps people with bone loss caused by cancer treatments, such as hormone therapy.
Denosumab works by blocking a protein that weakens bones. This helps the bones stay strong and lowers the risk of breaking. Doctors give Denaxa as a shot under the skin once every six months.
Each pack has a single-use pre-filled syringe with 60mg of Denosumab in 1mL of solution.
Denaxa is not a cure, but it helps manage bone loss and prevents further damage. Sticking to the treatment schedule is important for the best results.
