What is Xenazine 25 and What Is It Used For?
Xenazine tablets 25mg 112s c which helps regulate certain chemicals in the brain to control jerky and irregular body movements (chorea). Doctors use Xenazine 25 to treat chorea caused by conditions like Huntington’s disease, senile chorea, and hemiballismus.
Tardive Dyskinesia Treatment
Xenazine 25 also treats tardive dyskinesia, a condition involving uncontrollable movements like facial spasms, grimacing, or unusual tongue movements. This condition is often a side effect of antipsychotic medications. Xenazine 25 is prescribed only for moderate to severe symptoms that are socially disabling or embarrassing, and only if the symptoms persist even after reducing or stopping antipsychotic medication.
