Indications
– Invasive aspergillosis
– Serious infections caused by Candida species, including esophageal candidiasis
– Serious fungal infections caused by Scedosporium spp. and Fusarium spp.
– Other severe fungal infections in patients with an underlying immunosuppressive condition, such as cancer or HIV/AIDS
Dosage
The typical dosage for adults:
– Loading dose: 400 mg every 12 hours for the first 24 hours
– Maintenance dose: 200 mg every 12 hours
