Description
Ciprobay contains an active ingredient ciprofloxacin, an antiacterial used to treat infections.
Do not use CIPROBAY if you:
– Allergic to ciprofloxacin or any other ingredients in CIPROBAY.
– Have had negative reactions to the quinolone or fluoroquinolone antibiotics affecting joints, muscles, ligaments, nerves, and the central nervous system, have epilepsy, or psychiatric disorders.
– Are pregnant or breastfeeding?
-Taking tizanidine for muscle spasticity.
– Suffering from a cardiovascular disorder or using medicine for cardiac illness.
– Suffer from myasthenia gravis, which can cause muscle weakness and paralysis.
– Taking ACE inhibitors or angiotensin-receptor blockers for high blood pressure.
How to take Ciprofloxacin
Take CIPROBAY exactly as your doctor prescribes.
– Swallow the tablets whole with a significant amount of liquid; do not chew them because of their unpleasant taste additionally, keep hydrated and avoid alkalinizers
– You can take it with or without food. If you take it on an empty stomach, ciprofloxacin absorbs more quickly.
– Avoid dairy products or mineral-fortified drinks close to the time you take your medication, as they can interfere with absorption.
Pregnancy and Lactation
Avoid ciprofloxacin during pregnancy. Also,it passes into breast milk and should not be used by breastfeeding mothers.
